LearnTrapshooting Canada attend the "Arthemis Games" at Hamilton Gun Club Minimize

June 14, 2009 Hamilton Gun Club

LearnTrapshooting.ca athletes took a well deserved brake from registered shooting and attended the “Arthemis Games” organized by the excellent shooters of Greek descent at Hamilton Gun Club, a yearly tradition.

This was again a great shoot, great people and very nice results: out of three juniors that took the firing line, two entered the final shoot-off for the junior trophy.

As true champions, both our team captains, Matthew (in his first ever competition) and Chloe delivered under pressure and smoked in shootoff even better than during the tournament. At the end of the extra round our young lady captain won her first ever shootoff with a 22 to secure the trophy and Matthew proved everybody he means business! Good job - your coaches, parents, sponsors and supporters alike are proud of you!

Anthony shot with “the big boys” and delivered a strong performance finishing with another 25 for a very nice 94. Keep it up and continue to enjoy the sport. As you can see, the results are coming!

Everybody had lots of fun and enjoyed the excellent company and food! Welcome Sacha and Alex to registered shooting, we are looking forward to your first competition.

Thank you Arthemis for allowing all young shooters to shoot at no charge; we will all be coming back next year!
